What is the visiting hours at Chelsea Hospital? |

Chelsea has an open visiting policy and visitors are welcome at any time of the day unless advised otherwise by you or the nurse. We request that visitors leave by 8.30pm. For security reasons, the front door is locked at 5pm Monday to Friday and all weekend. Visitors must ring the bell for access to the hospital. You can read more visitor information here... |

What do I do if I have private health insurance? |

If your hospital stay is covered by insurance, you must obtain a "prior approval" and bring the documentation confirming this with you on your admission. On some occasions you may be required to pay a deposit before surgery. |
